Ian has been creating a reputation in the mountains of North Carolina for his clay sculptures and mixed
media presentations of monsters. Mixing a variety of color and various levels of humor, from adorable
to grotesque, Ian recreates the imaginary characters that flow through his subconscious. His work has
been exhibited at galleries such as the Big Idea in Asheville, UNC-Asheville’s Student Galleries, and
The Werehouse in Winston Salem.
